To add or modify an "Announcements" topic, follow the steps below:
- To add a topic, click on the Add a new discussion link at the top of the Announcements block on the right side of the course homepage.
- We do not recommend editing Announcements topics because email notifications are only sent to students the first time you post. Edits do not get sent to student email addresses.
- After editing or adding a new topic and filling in/editing the required fields click Save Changes.
