To add or modify an "Announcements" topic, follow the steps below:


  1. To add a topic, click on the Add a new discussion link at the top of the Announcements block on the right side of the course homepage.
  2. We do not recommend editing Announcements topics because email notifications are only sent to students the first time you post. Edits do not get sent to student email addresses.
  3. After editing or adding a new topic and filling in/editing the required fields click Save Changes.
