Creating Your Professor Corner

NOTE: The following procedure has been updated for Fall 2023


Please follow the instructions below to create your Professor Corner:

  1. At the top of your course, toggle Edit Mode to on.


  2. If the right-side menu is not expanded, select the orange button along the right side of the page.


  3. Find the Professor Corner in your course, select the gear icon, and then Configure Professor Corner block.
    NOTE: Make sure not to select the gear icon for the setup block right above it.


  4. In the Content section, open the code view by selecting the HTML icon and delete any placeholder text/code.


  5. Open the Professor Corner Code Generator (LAPU login required) and select USE TEMPLATE in the upper right.
    • Note: This will make a copy of the code generator into your personal Google Drive that you can customize.

  6. Follow the steps on the code generator to create the HTML code for your Professor Corner.

  7. After you select Get Code in the code generator, a popup will appear with your HTML code. Copy the HTML code.


  8. Paste the HTML code into the Content textbox in your course.


  9. Exit the HTML code view and review your content.


  10. When you are done, select Save Change.

Optional: Hide Professor Corner Setup Instructions block

  1. With Editing Mode still enabled, find the Professor Corner Setup Instructions block.


  2. Select the gear icon and select Hide Professor Corner Setup (Hidden) block.
